Cannot install Tensorflow_hub on macbook air M1 Monterey 12.2.1

Hi I am facing issue with installing tensorflow_hub on MacBook Air 2020 M1 Monterey 12.2.1. I have installed miniforge conda tensorflow as per instructions on apple help site.

Tensorflow works, but tensorflow_hub fails during installation. It cannot find the packages. There is no help information available on tensorflow or conda website. Can anyone please suggest possible way to fix this. During installation conda gives a long list of package conflicts (python, etc) and does not install.

can you share the rest of the log with the supposed incompatible packages list?

I tried again today, it did install packages this time, but failed at end. And it has messed up miniforge tensorflow env completely. Please see the log below.

points out that libssl.1.1.dylib might be missing. Could you follow e.g. the steps from here to install it (and to create the appropriate symlinks)?

Thanks for this, but i did a clean install again using apple instructions.
Now i can’t import tensorflow or numpy.
Please see log below. I tried updating/reinstalling numpy, but no use.
Is there any standard installation process from tensorflow for mac M1 chip till its fixed?

The channel your Conda looks does not contain the package! or the available package does not support arm64.
It is a shame to have a nice hardware but not be able to use them.

You need to modify your command as below:

$conda install -c conda-forge tensorflow-hub

The -c determines the channel to look.
Currently, I am using mini-forge.
So far, I found mini-forge to be more compatible with Apple M1.
