are there any plans to post it automatically once release is happening? Kind of chatOps as part of CI :slight_smile:
Could be cool for people to follow as well as a good starting point on a forum for release discussion

If I remember correctly, release notes are being sent by maintainers via email to mailing lists. With the ability to post via email, it might be as simple as just subscribing to that mailing list with the forum email.
