How do you manage when you read a paper related to yours? And what do you do to make sure you don’t forget what you read?
Normally in order to not forget some of the papers I have read, I make an audio recording stating the premise of the paper, the methodology and the findings presented all in a way that I would understand without necessarily using the exact wordings in the original paper. I have these audio recordings backed up somewhere just in case, for future reference.
Also, I try to write and publish articles on the paper. I use simple wordings if possible in order to appeal to a large audience especially people who have a hard time rememebering or even understanding the paper. I find that these practises has helped me remember and apply some of the concepts in some of my machine learning works.
